State of the Watershed Reports

SEAWA’s State of the Watershed (SOW) reports provide a science-based assessment of watershed conditions in the South Saskatchewan River Sub-Basin. These reports summarize trends in water quality, hydrology, land use, habitat condition, and emerging watershed pressures. They guide planning, stewardship priorities, and local decision-making.

Partnership Program

The Blue Prairie Initiative

An umbrella program supporting rural watershed health through wetlands and riparian stewardship, healthy working prairie landscapes, and on-the-ground demonstration sites. Funded by multiple grants and partners, Blue Prairie works directly with landowners and producers to care for the “blue” lungs of the prairie.
